In 2007, family convinced me to try out the insurance industry – just to help out around the office – and I simply could not leave. It’s one thing to have a second family in my co-workers and it’s even more wonderful to find the type of satisfaction that I do in helping clients when they need it.

Since 2012, I have been gaining knowledge in both Commercial and Personal Lines insurance. As an invaluable member of my team, I specialize in the administrative support of all things insurance. I’m the go-to-person for commissions, billing inquiries, and insurer procedures. I am very proud of the degree of knowledge that I have gained in the recent past, and I am pleased to get paid for something that I enjoy!

If I could use three words to describe my professional personality, I would say that I am conscientious, reliable, and receptive. On a personal note, my daughters are my pride and joy, and I truly enjoy spending time with them.

I am relied on in the office as the commercial and farm specialist, as I have a very broad understanding of the industries of Lloydminster and area and I can confidently find the appropriate coverages as my clients need.

With a turn in the Alberta economy I was looking for a new career path with more stability than the oilfield offered; insurance seemed to me to be the answer. With great determination I succeeded in obtaining my licensing and have not looked back. My office family has turned out to be a surprising bonus to my very interesting job. I enjoy the fact that no two days are the same in our industry, the questions, needs and situations presented are exciting and interesting. She originally hails from Newfoundland but has not lost her roots all these years later.
